DIY Hedgehog Leaf Craft Step by Step Tutorial for kids

With the use of some cardboard, clay, and leaf, we can create it in a short time.

Materials Required

  • A piece of cardboard
  • Black pen
  • Scissors
  • Clay
  • Glue
  • Pine leaf

Procedure

Step 1: Cutting Cardboard into a Circle Shape

Take a piece of cardboard and cut it into a small circle shape as shown in the image using scissors.

Step 2: Cutting Circle-Shaped Cardboard into Half

Cut that circle shape cardboard piece into half pieces as shown.

Step 3: Drawing the Face of the Hedgehog on the Cardboard

With the use of a black pen, draw a reflective ‘S’ at the left end of the half piece of cardboard as shown.

Step 4: Cutting Cardboard to Make the Face of a Hedgehog

Cut that S using scissors to make the shape of the hedgehog’s face.

Step 5: Pasting Pieces of Clay to Make a Hedgehog’s Nose and Eye

Take a small piece of black clay and paste it at the left edge of the cardboard to make a hedgehog’s nose and give a little press. Then take a small piece of white clay and paste it into the cardboard to make a hedgehog’s eye, take another small piece of black clay, paste it on white clay, and press it too.

Step 6: Let Nose and Eyes Dry

After pasting the nose and eyes, give some time for it to dry.

Step 7: Applying Some Glue on Hedgehog’s Body

Apply and spread some glue on the top of the cardboard.

Step 8: Pasting Pine Leaf on the Cardboard

Take little pieces of pine leaves and put them on the glue we applied.

Step 9: Adding More Leaves

Add some more glue and some more amount of leaves at the top of the cardboard.

Step 10: Pasting Different Colors of Clay

Take some different colored clay and take a small piece of every colored clay, and paste it randomly on the leaves using glue.

Finally, We Complete Our Hedgehog Craft

Paste your hedgehog craft on a white sheet or whiteboard to hang on the wall to decorate your room.
