Materials Required

  • Plastic Bottles
  • Colored Straws
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Double Side Tape
  • Cutter
  • Artificial Flowers
  • Hot Glue

Procedure

Step 1: Cutting Plastic Bottle In Half

Let’s begin the craft by taking a plastic bottle and cutting it in half using a cutter. Be careful while cutting the bottle.

Step 2: Taking The Bottom Part Of The Bottle

Take the bottom half of the bottle to craft a pencil holder.

Step 3: Applying Hot Glue On The Bottle

Apply hot glue using a hot glue gun on the side surface of the bottle.

Step 4: Pasting Another Bottle

Cut the other bottle in half and take its bottom half. Paste it adjacent to the previously cut half of the bottle.

Step 5: Applying Double Side Tape

Next, take a double side tape and wrap it around the plastic bottles.

Step 6: Removing The White Layer Of Tape

Remove the top white layer of the double side tape.

Step 7: Getting Colorful Drinking Straws

Now, grab some colorful drinking straws.

Step 8: Pasting Half Of The Straws On Bottles

Cut a straw of the bottle length and paste it between the bottles.

Step 9: Pasting More Straws

Similarly, paste half of the straws on the bottles.

Step 10: Covering Plastic Bottles With Straws

Cover the plastic bottles by pasting straws around them.

Step 11: Covering Top Edge With Pipe Cleaners

Now, take two pipe cleaners and paste them on the top circumference of each bottle using hot glue.

Step 12: Letting It Dry

After pasting straws and pipe cleaners, let them dry for a few minutes.

Step 13: Pasting Artificial Flowers

Once the pencil holder is dried, paste artificial flowers on the pencil holder.
