Air Pollution Factory Model for Kids
This project shows how factories can create air pollution and how smoke from chimneys goes into the air. In the image, a mini factory model is built with tall chimneys that release “smoke.”

Air Pollution Science Concept Explained
Factories burn fuels like coal, oil, or gas to produce energy. When these fuels burn, they release gases and tiny particles into the air. This is called air pollution.

Steps to Make an Air Pollution Model
Step 1: Create the Base
Use a cardboard sheet as the ground. Cover it with colored paper to make roads and factory land.
Step 2: Build the Factory Buildings
Use small boxes to create factory structures. Cover them with colored paper or paint them.
Step 3: Add Chimneys
Attach paper tubes or straws vertically on top of the buildings to act as factory chimneys.
Step 4: Show the Smoke
Stick small pieces of cotton at the top of the chimneys to represent smoke coming out.
Step 5: Add Tanks and Pipes
Use small containers and straws to create storage tanks and pipelines.
Step 6: Decorate the Model
Add roads, small houses, or vehicles to make the model look like an industrial area.
Step 7: Explain the Pollution
While presenting, explain how smoke from chimneys spreads into the air and causes pollution.
