Materials Required

  • Colorful Paper Sheets
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Disposable Plastic Spoon
  • Black Marker

Procedure

Step 1: Creating A Heart Cut Out

Let us begin this craft by taking a yellow paper sheet folding it in half, making a crease and cutting out a heart shape from it using scissors, and unfolding again.

Step 2: Pasting A Pink Heart Over Yellow

Follow the same previous step to make a pink heart that should be relatively smaller than the yellow one. Paste the pink heart cutout over the yellow one using glue. This will make a wing of the butterfly.

Step 3: Making Another Wing

Following the same previous 2 steps, make the other wing of the butterfly.

Step 4: Pasting The Wings Together

Paste both the heart-shaped wings one over the other from the end using glue.

Step 5: Pasting A Disposable Plastic Spoon

For the body and face of the butterfly, paste a disposable plastic spoon from the other side using glue in the middle of the wings.

Step 6: Adding Antennas

Cut out two thin pink-colored strips, roll over one end, and paste them side by side from behind the face of the butterfly.

Step 7: Making Facial Details Of The Butterfly

Using a black marker, draw 2 curved lines for the eyes with 2-2 eyelashes and a smile. Also, cut 2 small circles out of pink sheet paper and paste them on each side of the smile using glue to make the blush.

Your Paper-Spoon Butterfly Is Ready!

For the last step, cut out and paste 2 flowers of white and green sheet paper, petals of white paper, and a center of green circles. Also, cut out circles of blue, purple, and white sheets as seen in the image, and paste them over the wings using glue.
