Materials Required

• Construction Papers (Yellow, Orange, and White)
• Colors
• Toothpick
• Black Marker
• Scissors
• Glue

Procedure

Step 1: Getting Yellow Square Paper

First, you need a yellow square shape paper to make the body of the boat.

Step 2: Folding Paper In Half

Fold the paper in half to form a rectangle.

Step 3: Folding Corners To The Middle Crease

Now, fold the corners of the rectangle to the middle crease. Fold the top left and right corners of the upper layer of paper only.

Step 4: Folding Top Layer In Half

Next, fold the upper layer in half downwards as shown in the above image.

Step 5: Folding Corners To The Middle

Fold the top left and right corners to the middle crease.

Step 6: Folding Paper In Half

Again, fold the paper in half downwards.

Step 7: Making Paper Boat

Open the paper from the top to make a boat shape.

Step 8: Attaching Oars Of the Boat

Make three holes on the top edge of each side of the boat. Take a toothpick and paste an orange rectangle at its end. Insert the toothpick in the hole to make an oar of the boat.

Step 9: Making Paper Boat With Oars

Similarly, make oars and attach them to each hole.

Step 10: Drawing Dragon’s Head and Tail On White Paper

Now, take a white paper and a black marker. Draw the dragon’s head and tail separately using a pencil. Outline the drawing using a black marker.

Step 11: Coloring and Cutting Dragon

Color the dragon’s head and tail using red and orange colors. Cut them out of paper using scissors.

Step 12: Pasting Head On Bow Of Boat

Next, paste the dragon’s head on the bow of the paper boat using glue.

Step 13: Pasting Tail on Boat

Lastly, paste the tail on the back of the boat to complete the dragon boat craft.
