Materials Required

• Craft sheet(White)
• Watercolors
• Paint brush
• Toothbrush
• Cotton bud

Procedure

Step 1: Painting A Duck

Let’s begin our craft by taking a white paper. Cut it into a circle. This will become the base of our painting. Using a pencil, draw the outline of a duck. Then take some yellow paint and paint the entire body of the duck as shown.

Step 2: Making The Feathers

To make the feather-like effect on the paper, take a toothbrush and while the paint is wet, apply gentle strokes of the brush all over the body of the duck. This will make the feathers of the duck, especially on the head and tail area.

Step 3: Making A Beak And A Feather

Take some orange paint and make a beak for the duck. Next, using the orange paint only, make a wing on the body of the duck as shown in the image.

Step 4: Painting The Water

Take blue paint and with gentle strokes, paint the water. The duck will be floating in this blue water as shown.

Step 5: Making the Eye

Take black paint,  and make a circle on the head as shown to make the eye of the duck.

Step 6: Making The White Dots

To make the inner dots in the eye, take a cotton bud and dip it in white paint. Carefully, apply two dots on the black circle as shown. This will complete the eye.

Step 7: Painting The Grass

To paint the grass, take green paint and draw long grass-like blades on the water as shown.

Step 8: Making The Red Flowers

Make more green glass blades on the surface of the water. Take red paint, and make red flowers on top of the grass blades as shown in the image.
