Materials Required

  • White And Green Paper Sheet
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Colored Clay (Black, White, And Green)
  • Clay Pressing Tool
  • Black And Red Sketch Pens

Procedure

Step 1: Pasting A Green Paper Strip

To begin this craft, take a white and green paper sheet and a pair of scissors. Using the scissors, cut the white sheet into a circle to make the base of your craft, and from the green sheet, cut out a thick strip. Now, using glue paste the strip over the base on the left side a little tilted as shown in the image. This will be the bamboo.

Step 2: Making More Bamboo

Cut out 3 more green strips from the paper and paste them onto the base randomly titled using the glue.

Step 3: Cutting Out The Extra Part Of Bamboo

Using scissors, cut out the extra part of the bamboo which are coming out of the base.

Step 4: Detailing The Bamboo

Using a black sketch pen, draw double curved lines over the bamboo randomly over them and make some small line strokes over them to give the bamboo a realistic effect.

Step 5: Making Leaves To The Bamboo

Make drop shapes from green clay and place them randomly on one side of the double lines on the base to make the leaves of the bamboo.

Step 6: Making A Panda Body

Dough white clay into a ball and place it over the bamboo. Using the clay pressing tool press the clay ball to flatten it and make a panda body.

Step 7: Making Panda Face

Following the same, make a flattened clay ball above the body to make the face of a panda.

Step 8: Adding Ears

Make small black clay balls and place them above the face on each side to make the ears of the panda, press them a bit using your fingers to make them stick to the paper.

Step 9: Making Eyes Of Panda

Make 2 oval shapes from black clay and place them tilted outwards over the top of the face side-by-side as shown in the image.

Step 10: Completing Making The Eyes

Make further very small ovals from a white clay and stick them above the black ones to complete the eyes of the panda.

Step 11: Making Nose And Blush

Dough a small oval black clay nose and stick it below and in between the eyes over the face. For the blush, use a red sketch pen and make 2-2 dots on each side of the nose on the cheeks as shown in the image.

Step 12: Making Hands And Legs Of The Panda

Make 2 curvy drop shapes from black clay, one a little bigger than the other, and stick them onto the panda’s body smaller over the bigger to make them look like the panda is hanging over the bamboo with its hands and legs.

This Is The Final Look Of Your Pandas On Bamboo!

Make 3 more pandas over the bamboo randomly of any different sizes in the same way you made the one.

Voila! Look at those cute pandas hanging over the bamboo!
