  • Craft Paper (Red and White)

Procedure

Step 1: Getting Ready With Red Paper

To start, get ready with a paper of dimensions 7.5*15 cm.  Fold the paper in long half and crease it well. Unfold the paper.

Step 2: Folding Sides To The Middle

Bring the top and bottom sides of the paper to the middle crease.

Step 3: Folding In Half To Form Red Paper Strip

After folding the sides to the middle, fold the paper in half to form a paper strip.

Step 4: Folding Paper Strip In Half

Again, fold the paper strip in half.

Step 5: Attaching Half-folded White Paper Strip To Red Half-folded Strip

Similarly, make a white paper strip, Attach the red paper strip vertically in the middle of the white paper strip as shown in the above image.

Step 6: Attaching Another Red Strip Vertically

Take another red paper strip and attach it to the white paper strip vertically by placing the white strip in the middle of the red paper strip.

Step 7: Attaching Another White Strip Horizontally

Finally, attach a one more white half-folded paper strip horizontally to connect the red strips as shown in the above image.

Step 8: Tightening The Strips

Tighten the paper strips to form a weave pattern in a square shape.

Step 9: Folding Top Layers Of Paper Strip Inwards

Next, take the top layer of each left end of the paper strip and fold them inwards.

Step 10: Inserting The Paper Strips Ends In Pockets

Insert the red strips in the white strips formed in the previous step.

Step 11: Flipping The Model

Flip the paper model.

Step 12: Repeating The Process

Repeat the same process of folding paper strips inwards and inserting them in pockets.
