So, today we are going to make a paper flower craft on a card that you can use to keep as a showcase or even give to someone special!

Material Used

• Craft Paper (Red, White, Green, Yellow)
• Sellotape/Thin Double-Sided Tape
• Scissors
• Glue
• Decorative Stickers
• Pencil

Procedure

Step 1: Cut a Strip Off a Rectangle With Red Craft Paper

Now, with the help of scissors cut a strip of rectangle by using red coloured craft paper. After making a strip, put a sellotape/thin double-sided tape in the middle of the rectangular red strip. (If using sellotape, remember to fold it and use it, so that both sides of the craft paper sticks).

Step 2: Stick Another Red Rectangular Strip

Cut the same size of the red rectangular strip as above and stick it in the opposite direction as shown and stick it on the top of the sellotape/thin double-sided tape which is already placed on the first red rectangular strip.

Step 3: Repeat The Same Step As Above

Repeat the same process two more times with the red rectangular strip and sellotape/thin double-sided tape. Make an asterisk-like shape as shown in the picture.

Step 4: Fold One Of The Rectangular Strips

Now, fold one of the rectangular strips from opposite directions and stick to the sellotape/double-sided tape in the middle as shown in the picture.

Step 5: Repeat The Same Above Step

Repeat the same step as above by folding the opposite side of the red rectangular strip and sticking it to the sellotape/thin double-sided tape as shown.

Step 6: Fold All The Sides And Stick It

Fold all the red rectangular strips as shown and stick them with sellotape/thin double-sided tape.

Step 7: Take White And Green Craft Paper

Now, take white and green coloured craft paper. The green coloured craft paper should be a little big in size as compared to white coloured craft paper. Stick the white craft paper on the green craft paper. This is for giving background effects.

Step 8: Make a Stem With Green Craft Paper

With the help of scissors, cut a narrow strip of green coloured craft paper to make a stem of the flower. Stick the stem on the middle of the white coloured craft paper as shown.

Step 9: Stick The Flower

Now, with the help of the glue, stick the red flower which you have made, just above the stem and on the white craft paper as shown.

Step 10: Make Leaves With Green Craft Paper

Cut the shape of the leaves with the help of green coloured craft paper and scissors. Make two leaves. Stick the leaves on both sides of the stem with the help of glue on white craft paper. Don’t apply glue to the whole leaf, apply only to the middle part of the leaf.

Step 11: Make a Pistil With Yellow Craft Paper

Now, take a yellow craft paper. With the help of a pencil make a broad spiral shape on it as shown. Cut the spiral shape with scissors. But remember don’t cut the end part of the spiral shape.

Step 12: Roll The Pistil

After cutting the spiral, roll it sideways to make a pistil as shown in the picture.

Step 13: Add a Drop Of Glue

After making a pistil, add a drop of glue at the bottom of the pistil.

Step 14: Stick The Pistil

The final part is to stick the pistil in between the red flower with the help of the glue as shown in the image.
