This tutorial requires extremely inexpensive and easily available materials to create beautiful and amazing crafts! You will be needing a lot of real leaves to make a flower by simply pasting them on a sheet of paper. So, go out in the park or a garden and collect a lot of fallen leaves from trees and plants. Try to collect leaves in different colors and shapes. Do not pluck leaves from the tree, collect the fallen, dead ones instead. Also find a thin, long tree twig among the fallen leaves. Let’s get started with making this craft!

Materials Required

• Craft Sheet(White)
• Real Leaves
• Tree Twig
• Glue
• Sketch Pen(Black, White)
• Scissors

Procedure

Step 1: Getting A Stem

Take a long and thin twig and paste it in the middle of the white sheet. This twig will act as the stem of our flower craft.

Step 2: Pasting The Leaves

Take two small green leaves and paste them at the top of the twig making the tip of the leaves fall on the sides of the stem as shown in the picture.

Step 3: Pasting All The Green Leaves

Take four more similar leaves and paste one on top of both the leaves you pasted earlier.

Step 4: Adding More Colorful Petals

Take two leaves in yellow color and paste them next to each other on the green flower base as shown in the picture below.

Step 5: Pasting More Yellow Leaves

Take more yellow leaves and paste them next to each other on the green floral base making another petal layer on it. See the picture for reference. You now have two different layers of petals in two different colors.

Step 6: Making The Centre Of The Flower

Take a red-colored leaf and shape it into a circle. Now, paste the red leaf in the middle of the flower petals as shown in the picture below.

Step 7: Pasting The Leaves On The Stem

Take two big diamond-shaped leaves in green color and paste one on each side of the stem.

Step 8: Making The Wings Of The Butterfly

Take two green leaves and shape them with the help of scissors into the wings of a butterfly and paste them on the bottom left side of the sheet as shown in the image.

Step 9: Making The Butterfly’s Body

Take a big red leaf and cut a thin, long petal shape out of it. Now, paste the shape in the middle of the wings of the butterfly. This will serve as the body of the butterfly and the leaves will act as the wings of the butterfly.

Step 10: Adding Details

Take a white sketch pen and draw horizontal lines on the body of the butterfly. Now, make two antennas on top of the body with the help of a black marker.

Repeat steps 8,9 and 10 to make another butterfly in the flower craft. This completes the tutorial which involved making a leaf flower. It taught you about different shapes and colors of the leaves and using them in making brilliant and wonderful art and craft.
