Easy Paper Hen Craft Tutorial For Beginners

Welcome to this step-by-step tutorial on how to make an easy paper hen craft. This is super fun and easy tutorial. In this, you will learn some craft skills. This can be made by kids as well as adults. You will need some basic materials which are easily available. So without any further ado, let’s get started.

Materials Required

  • Yellow craft paper
  • Poppy eye
  • Red craft paper
  • Orange craft paper
  • Glue stick

Procedure

Step 1: Making Marks on the Craft Paper by Slightly Folding it

Start this craft by taking craft paper and gently start folding it till it leaves a mark such that it makes four triangles as shown in the photo above.

Step 2: Folding the Craft Paper From the Four Sides

After making the mark start folding the paper along with the marks we made earlier. Hold the paper from the four sides and start folding as shown in the image above.

Step 3: Starting Folding the Upper Triangle

After folding it from four sides. You will get an upside-down triangle on two sides as shown in the image above. Now start folding the upper triangle from both sides.

Step 4: Folding towards the Upper Side

After starting folding the craft paper, start folding it towards the upper side as shown in the photo above to give it a shape like a hen.

Step 5: Folding the Lower Triangle Sides

After folding the upper triangle, start folding the lower triangle by holding its both sides above the upper triangle as shown in the photo above.

Step 6: Making the Wings of the Hen

Now take the yellow craft paper and cut out the wings of the hen in the shape shown in the photo above. After cutting it, start sticking it on both sides of the folded craft paper with the glue stick.

Step 7: Sticking the Other Wing too

Now cut one more wing out of the yellow craft paper for the other side and start sticking it to the other side of the folded paper to make look like the leg of the hen.

Step 8: Making the Comb of the Hen with the Red Craft Paper

After making the legs of the hen now it turns to make the comb of the hen. For this take red craft paper and cut a comb shape out of it as shown in the photo above. After that start sticking in the head of the hen that we created earlier.

Step 9: Making Eyes of the Hen using Poppy Eyes

After making the comb of the hen, now it’s turn to make the eyes of the hen for this take poppy eyes which you will find easily in any of the art and craft stores nearby. Now stick them below the comb of the hen with the help of a glue stick.

Step 10: Making the Beak of the Hen with the Orange Craft Paper

After sticking the eyes now it’s for making the beak of the hen. For this take orange craft paper and cut a beak shape out of it as shown in the photo above. Then stick it below the eyes. Hope you’re already getting the cute hen. Well, continue till the last step.

Step 11: Making the Legs of the Hen

After the nose, it’s time to make the legs of the hen. For this start folding the lower tip of the paper towards the upper side as shown in the photo above to make the legs.
