DIY Robotic Hand Craft Project Made With Paper

Materials Required

• Green Construction Paper
• Double Side Tape
• Scissors
• Plastic Straws (Red)
• Threads

Procedure

Step 1: Tracing A Handprint

Let’s begin making our robotic hand by taking a green paper. Using a black marker, trace your hand to form a handprint.

Step 2: Pasting Strips Of Double Side Tape

Now, cut several strips of double side tape and paste them on the robotic hand as shown.

Step 3: Passing Thread Through The Plastic Straw Pieces

Take red straws and cut them into several pieces as shown. Their length should be as per the length of the strips of the double-sided tape.

Step 4: Pasting The Straw Pieces

Remove the white paper from the tape and paste the plastic straw pieces. Pass a thread through all the pieces of the straw pasted along a finger.

Step 5: Pasting All The Straw Pieces

Now, paste all the straw pieces along all the fingers. Pass a thread through the straw pieces of each finger as shown. Secure the top ends of each thread with a knot as shown.

Step 6: Adding A Final Straw Piece

Take a straw piece and pass all the remaining portions of the threads through that piece. On pulling a thread, you will be able to control the movements of the associated finger. Isn’t it amazing!
