Materials Required

  • Empty toilet paper roll
  • Colored sheets (yellows and red)
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Procedure

Step-1: Taking An Empty Toilet Paper Roll

Let’s start this craft by taking an empty toilet paper roll.

Step-2: Covering The Roll With Red Sheet

Cover the roll using a red sheet and glue.

Step-3: Pasting A Yellow Strip

Paste a thick yellow strip in the middle of the roll by circling it around.

Step-4: Pasting A Dark Yellow Strip

Cut out a thin dark yellow strip and paste it over the thick one by circling it around the roll.

Step-5: Pasting A Red Strip

Cut out a red strip as thin as a yellow strip and paste it behind from behind the roll and keep it straight by letting some extra strip come out from both sides of the roll.

Step-6: Pasting Circles Over The Red Strip Ends

Paste 2 yellow small circles over the ends of the red strip and draw a diamond shape over them using a pencil.

Step-7: Drawing  Nutcracker’s Face

Cut out a red diamond shape and paste it in the center of the yellow thin strip as shown in the image. Take a black marker, and draw the facial features of the Nutcracker.

Step-8: Making Hand Of The Nutcracker

Make a hand of the Nutcracker by cutting out a red strip and pasting it from behind a little tilted above, now take the other end in the front by leaving some extra strip and form a loop for the hand.

Step-9: Making Another Hand

Repeat the previous step and make the hand from the other side of the roll.

Step-10: Making Ears

Cut out 2 ears from the yellow paper and paste them on both sides of the face.

Step-11: Drawing The Details

Using a black marker, draw the details of the hands.

Step-12: Paste A Bread

Make bread using yellow paper cut it out and paste it above the hands of the nutcracker in the center.
