Simple Watercolor Drawing Of Flower And Butterfly

Materials Required

Blue Colored Circular Paper Sheet
Paint Colors
Rounded Paintbrushes (Broad And Thin)
Cotton Earbuds
White Pen
Circle Stamps

Procedure

Step 1: Making Purple Flowers Base

To start, take a blue colored circular paper sheet as the base and a broad-rounded paintbrush. Dip the paintbrush into purple paint and press it whole from the side over the base. This makes the purple flower base a cone shape. Repeat the steps randomly 3 times more to make purple flower bases.

Step 2: Making Yellow Flowers Base

Following the same previous step make yellow paint flower bases 2 over and 2 between the purple ones.

Step 3: Making Purple Flowers Dandelions

Dip a cotton earbud into pink paint and dab it over the top of the flower base to cover it whole and irregularly to make them look like the dandelions over them.

Step 4: Detailing The Purple Flowers

Dip a thin rounded paintbrush into the pink paint and make dotted lines over the purple flower bases along the flower outline.

Step 5: Making Yellow Flowers Dandelions

Repeat step 3 to make dandelions over the yellow flower bases but this time make them of white paint.

Step 6: Detailing Yellow Flowers

Repeat step 4 to detail the yellow flower bases from white paint. Also, make some white dandelions over the purple flowers too to make them look bushy.

Step 7: Making Flowers Stems

Dip the thin paintbrush into green paint and make curvy stems of the flowers beneath them to the end of the base.

Step 8: Making Leaves On The Stems

From the same paintbrush make curvy strokes from the stems outwards to make them look like thin leaves of the flowers. Also, make the leaves of light green paint too and between the flowers also.

Step 9: Making A Butterfly

Dip a circle stamp into red paint and dab it over the right corner, then again below and slightly over the stamped circle and a little more shifted to the right, this will become the wing of the butterfly, do the same to make another wing, and using the paintbrush make 2 curvy stoke in between and over the wings to make antennas.

Step 10: Making Another Butterfly

Following the same previous step, make another butterfly over the top of the base as shown.

Step 11: Detailing Butterflies

Dip the cotton bud into yellow paint and make some dots over the wings make to detail the butterflies.

Step 12: Drawing The Body Of The Butterflies

Using a white pen, make the curvy enclosed bodies of the butterflies between their wings and make horizontal small curved lines inside the bodies to detail them too.
