Procedure

Step 1: Cutting Out 2 Paper Circles

To begin this craft, take a white paper sheet and using scissors, cut out 2 small paper circles from it.

Step 2: Bending A Floral Craft Stem

Cut out a piece of floral craft stem and using pliers, bend the stem in half to form a ‘L’ shape.

Step 3: Inserting The Stem Into Circle’s Hole

Make a hole in the center of a circle and put the bent stem into it till it reaches the bent curve.

Step 4: Pasting A Floral Stem Piece

Using a glue gun paste another small piece of floral right in front of the put-in bent stem over the circle. Also, stick the bent stem over the paper using the glue gun.

Step 5: Pasting More Piece Of Floral Stem

Cut out 6 more pieces of floral stem and paste them over the circle at a certain distance from each other.

Step 6: Pasting All The Floral Stem Pieces

Paste all the floral stem pieces over the circle to make it look like an 8-corner star.

Step 7: Pasting Another Circle

Paste the other circle over the sticks to overlap the previous circle using the glue gun.

Step 8: Wrapping White Thread On The Handle

The best part of the stem coming straight out of the hole below the star is the handle of the umbrella. Start covering this handle from the end with a white thread wrapping around it and secure it with the glue gun.

Step 9: Covering The Circle With The White Thread

Continue to circle the thread coming from the handle, over the circle, and secure it with a glue gun.

Step 10:  Weaving The White Thread Over Star Corner

Glue the end of the white thread over the circle and start to weave by taking the thread over any one-star corner.

Step 11: Weaving White Circle Layers

Continue to weave by taking the thread from over and under the star corners one by one in a circular motion loop to complete one-by-one circle layers of it.

Step 12: Bending The Star Corners

After weaving 5 layers of white heard, take a plier and slightly bend half of the star corners.

Step 13: Weaving With A Blue Thread

Now take a blue thread and continue weaving by looping upon the corner over and under one by one.

Step 14: Completing Weaving The Blue Thread

Complete to weave until you have reached the end of the star corner stick.

Step 15: Pasting A Designer Cloth Strip

Take a white designer cloth strip and paste it using the glue gun around the end of the corners along the weaving.

Step 16: Pasting A Decorative Craft Flower

Paste a decorative craft flower over the top circle in the middle using the glue gun.
