Materials Required
- Straws
- Yellow Paper
- Hot Glue Gun
- Glue
Procedure
Step 1: Making Zigzag Paper Strips
To begin with, take yellow paper, cut it into small squares, and then fold it a centimeter and turn the paper. Again fold it in the opposite direction and turn the paper. Repeat the same till the end of the paper.
Step 2: Folding the Strips
Then fold the zigzag strips in half and paste them from inside using glue to form a fan shape. Make such more fans.
Step 3: Pasting Fans Using Glue
Paste paper fans adjacent to each other using glue.
Step 4: Pasting The Strips To Form a Circle
Make two circles by pasting paper fans to each other. These circles will act as the wheels of a bicycle.
Step 5: Taking A Blue Straw
For the body of the cycle, take a blue straw.
Step 6: Applying Glue Gun On Both The Ends Of The Straw
Take a glue gun and apply some on both ends of the straw by folding it in half.
Step 7: Pasting Circles On Straw
Take the circle and paste it in the middle of the straw from the center of the circle. Do the same for another circle with another straw.
Step 8: Pasting Both The Straws
Stick both straws together, one from the middle of the other with a glue gun forming a T shape, keeping the circle below.
Step 9: Making Straw Stand For Cycle
Take a piece of straw of length slightly larger than the radius of the circle. Paste the piece on the circle slightly more than a right angle, adjacent to the big straw.
Step 10: Making Handle Of The Cycle
Take another straw’s bend part and paste it on the vertical straw to make the handle of the bicycle. And for the seat, cut a small piece of straw, and paste it at a right angle over the horizontal straw.
Step 11: Making Seat Of Cycle Â
Cut out a drop-shaped seat from yellow paper and paste it over the straw made of the seat.
