Step -1: Preparing The Ginkgo Leaves
To start, collect several ginkgo leaves, preferably fresh ones, of similar sizes. You will need around 8-10 leaves for this craft.
Step -2: Shaping The Leaves

Step -3: Preparing The Base
Cut a circle shape from white construction paper for the base and apply glue to it.
Step -4: Pasting The Leaves
Attach the ginkgo leaves to the white cutout.
Step -5: Making The Body Of The Caterpillar
To create the body of the caterpillar, stack the ginkgo leaves on top of each other with a slight overlap, leaving a small space at the top of each leaf, as shown in the picture. Use glue to attach the leaves together.

Cut a circle shape out of yellow construction paper to create the caterpillar’s head.
Step -7: Making The Eyes
Attach two googly eyes to the yellow paper circle.
Step -8: Attaching The Head To The Body Of The Caterpillar
Using glue, affix the head of the caterpillar to its body.
Step -9: Adding Details
Use a black marker to draw a mouth and tentacles on the head of the caterpillar.
Step -10: Adding Legs To The Caterpillar
To create the legs of the caterpillar, use a black marker to draw thin, curved lines starting from the bottom of the body and extending outward.
Step -11: Adding Details To The Background
To create the ground we will use leaves of various colors. To attach these leaves, first, apply glue to the bottom of the caterpillar.
