Step-by-Step Working Explanation
Step 1: Build the Solar Panel
- Make a tilted panel using cardboard and cover it with black paper.
- Attach a pipe or tube to the panel. This is where the water will heat up.
Step 2: Add the Water Tank
- Place a small plastic bottle or container higher than the panel.
- This acts as the storage tank for hot water.
Step 3: Connect the Pipes
A pipe from the bottom of the tank to the solar panel. Another pipe from the top of the panel back to the tank. This creates a water loop.
Step 4: Add Water
Pour water into the tank.
Step 5: Place Under Sunlight
When sunlight hits the black solar panel, it heats the water inside the pipe.
Step 6: Watch the Cycle
- Water in the panel heats up
- Hot water rises to the tank
- Cooler water from the tank flows down
