Materials Required

• Colorful Paper Sheets
• Colorful Clay
• Scissors
• Glue
• Sketch Pens
• Black Pen

Procedure

Step 1: Pasting The Face Of The Ostrich

To begin this craft, take a white and red paper sheet, using scissors cut the white paper down in a big circle as the base of our craft, and cut out a small red circle for the face of the ostrich. Paste the small red circle over the base using glue, a little left from the center of the base.

Step 2: Pasting The Neck Of The Ostrich

From the red sheet, cut out a long red strip and make sure the strip is thin from one side and relatively thick from another side. Paste it beneath the face a little tilted to the end of the base to make the neck of the ostrich using glue.

Step 3: Pasting Googly Eyes

Paste 2 googly eyes over the face using glue.

Step 4: Adding A Nose To The Ostrich

Take white-colored clay and dough it into a small cone, place it over the face below the eyes, and press it to make it stick to the paper. This becomes the nose of the ostrich.

Step 5: Drawing Body Hair Of The Ostrich

Using a black pen, make tiny lines on the boundary of the whole ostrich to make them look like their body hair.

Step 6: Making Hair On The Neck Of The Ostrich

Make dot-like lines randomly over the neck of the whole ostrich using a black pen.

Step 7: Making A Blue Ostrich

Following the same steps, make another blue colored ostrich on the left of the red one. make sure to keep the length of its neck very small as shown in the image.

Step 8: Making More Ostriches

Make more ostriches over the base of green and orange color, make their noses of different colored clay, and also make various textures over the neck rather than dot-like lines.

Step 9: Continuing Making More Ostriches

Continue making 2 more ostriches of pink and purple color as shown in the image.

Step 10: Making Random Spirals And Dots On The Base

Using green, red, and pink sketch pens make random spirals over the base of the craft. Also, using the yellow sketch pen make dots over the white base.
