How to Make a Paper Craft Turkey for Thanksgiving

Materials required:

  1. Different colored craft papers(at least A5 in size)
  2. Pencil
  3. Marker
  4. Cardboard
  5. Protractor for making circles
  6. A palm ( most important;) )

Instructions:

Take A5-sized sheets of different colours.

Make the shape of your palm on the sheets.

Take a cut-out of the shape from all the sheets.

You’ll get different coloured palm shapes.

Apply glue to one of them.

Paste other pieces on top of the others.

Keep pasting until you use all the pieces. Make sure to incline them at an angle of around 30 degrees from each other.

You’ll get multicoloured feathers.

Now take the piece of cardboard.

Draw two circles, one circle smaller and the other one a little larger in diameter.

Cut the two circles.

Paste the two cutouts one below the other. Give them the shape of the body of the turkey.

Now paste the cardboard piece on the feathers(i.e., the palm cutouts). Be careful so that the sheets do not fold.

Paste a small, round, white sheet for eyes using a pair of tweezers.

Paste a smaller black circular part on its centre.

Add another very small, round, white sheet for the eyeballs. Do the same for the other eye, too.

Take a small piece of red paper and fold it in half.

Extract a heart shape on the sheet.

Cut the sheet and open it to get a heart shape.

Paste it below the eyes at the centre.

Fold a diamond-shaped yellow sheet in half.

Paste it on the inverted heart that you just pasted to make its beak.

Cut out two feet of the turkey, preferably from yellow paper.
