Materials Required

  • Light green paint
  • Crimson paint
  • Red paint
  • Water
  • A thin, round brush
  • An earbud
  • A plain, white drawing sheet

Procedure

Step 1: Taping The Earbud On A Plain Sheet Of Paper

Take an earbud and dip it into crimson paint. Tap it on a sheet of paper in the manner shown above, forming an oval. Maintain the gap between the dots. Do not tap it too hard, just enough to get the imprint similar to above.

Step 2: Making The Petals Using The Earbud

Using the same earbud, spread the paint in curved strokes from the dots towards the center, in the manner as shown above. Make sure you do this quick, do not let the paint dry and do not overspread it. Carefully observe the reference image.

Step 3: Taking A Paint Brush To Make The Stamen

Now, after making the petals, take the paint brush and using the red paint, make the stamen just as in the above image. Use a thin, round brush, otherwise, the paint would be too much.

Step 4: Drawing The Stem Using A Paintbrush

Using the same brush, dip it into light green paint, after properly washing the crimson off. With a steady hand, make a straight line for the stem and the leaves. Do not add too much water and do not hurry.
