Materials Required

  • Colorful sheets
  • Double-sided tapes
  • Rubber band
  • Sticks
  • Sketch pens

Procedure

Step 1: Taking A Red Paper Cup And Making Claws

Take a red paper cup and a red sheet for your crab, and draw its claws on it.

Step 2: Making Legs

Using a pencil, draw 6 legs of your crab on yellow paper.

Step 3: Making Eyes And Mouth

On a piece of white paper draw its eyes, on orange and blue paper draw semicircles for its mouth.

Step 4: Cutting Out All The Parts

Cut out the parts drawn over the colorful sheets.

Step 5: Pasting The Claws

Paste the claws of your crab over the inverted paper cup on both sides.

Step 6: Pasting The Eyes

Paste your crab’s eyes on the cup between the claws, one beside the other.

Step 7: Pasting Legs

Paste the legs of your crab, 3 on one side of the cup below the claws.

Step 8: Completing Pasting Legs

Paste the other 3 legs one below the other on another side of the cup.

Step 9: Pasting Mouth

Paste the mouth of your crab in the center of the cup after detailing it (making tongue and lips).

Step 10: Taking A Stick And A Rubber Band

Make a hole below the crab’s mouth with a piece of a stick and attach a rubber band to it and push it inside the cup.

Step 11: Taking Out The Rubber Band From The Other Side Of The Cup

Stretch the rubber band and take it out from the other side of the cup by making a hole.

Step 12: Securing The Rubber Band With A Stick

After taking the rubber band out, secure it with a piece of stick.

Step 13: Apply Tape On Both The Sticks

Apply tape on both sticks to paste them into the cup.

Step 14: Placing A Paper Between Rubber Band

Place the thick paper in between the rubber band.
