- Colored construction papers
- Glue
- Scissors
- Sketch Pens
Procedure
Step 1: Getting A Blue Square Paper
Let’s begin crafting by taking a blue paper. To make it into a square shape, fold it along its breadth from the bottom. Cut the remaining portion to get a blue square.
Step 2: Adding Green Grass Bed
To add grass for our cute chicken family, take the green paper. Cut green grass with two straight edges and a curved pattern on one side as shown. Paste the grass on the blue square.
Step 3: Making A Cut On White Circle
Step 4: Folding The Quarter
Flip the circle so that the cut made is in an upward direction. Now, fold one-quarter of the circle over the other as shown.
Step 5: Adding Beak To The Hen
To make the beak, take an orange paper. Cut a small triangle. Attach it on the side of the hen’s body as shown.
Step 6: Making Eyes Of The Hen
Using black and white paper, make eyes for the hen and paste it as shown.
Step 7: Adding The Crown
To make the crown for our hen, take a red paper. Cut a crown shape and paste it on top of the hen’s body.
 Step 8: Drawing Patterns On Hen
Using a black marker, draw curved patterns on the hen’s body as shown.
Step 9: Adding Tail Feathers
To make the colorful tail feathers, take yellow, mustard, and orange colored paper. Cut tail feathers out of them. Paste them together on the side of the hen’s body.
Step 10: Making A Chicken
Paste the white hen in the middle of the grass. Take yellow paper. Repeating steps 3,4,5 and 6, make the chicken’s body. Remember to add a yellow beak.
Step 11: Making More Chickens
Repeating the above step, make two more chickens. Paste them on the green grass bed as shown.
Step 12: Drawing Legs Of Chicken Family
Using a black marker, draw legs for the chicken family.
Step 13: Pasting Heart Shape Flowers
Take colored papers, make small hearts, and paste them all over the green grass bed.
Step 14: Making Stems And Leaves
Take a green marker, and draw stems and leaves to complete our heart-shaped flowers. Draw grass blades to complete the garden.
Step 15: Pasting The Sun And Clouds
Take orange paper and cut a small circle for the sun. Paste it on the upper right corner of the blue paper. To make the clouds, take white paper and cut several clouds, and paste them to complete the blue sky.
Step 16: Drawing The Sun’s Rays
Take an orange sketch pen and make the rays of the sun. This completes our cute chicken family.
