Materials Required

• Jute Rope
• Floral Stem Sticks
• Glue Gun
• Plastic Circular Container Lids
• Jute Fabric
• White Designer Cloth Strip
• Artificial Jute And Leaves Vine

Procedure

Step 1: Taking Plastic Circular Lids

To begin this craft, take 2 circular plastic container lids.

Step 2: Covering The Lids With Jute Fabrics

Cover the circular lids with jute fabrics and secure them with the glue gun.

Step 3: Gluing Floral Stem Sticks

Start pasting floral stem sticks over the circumference of the circular lid from behind using the glue gun.

Step 4: Completing Pasting The Sticks

Continuously paste the sticks around the circumference at a certain distance and length of the sticks.

Step 5: Applying Glue gun Over The Circumference

When all the sticks are pasted, apply a glue gun over them in a circle over the circumference.

Step 6: Pasting The Other Lid

Paste the other lip to overlap the first on the applied glue gun.

Step 7: Starting To Weave With A Jute Rope

Take the jute rope and start to weave first from the inner side of the stick, take the rope over and under sticks alternatively to weave around the whole circular lid.

Step 8: Continuing Weaving

Continue to weave till 4-5 rounds of the lid.

Step 9: Bending The Sticks

After 4-5 rounds, bend the sticks inwards just a little to give them a basket shape.

Step 10: Completing Weaving

Then again continue to weave in the bent sticks over and under alternatively till you reach the end of the sticks. Apply a glue gun to the end to make it secure.

Step 11:  Making Wavy Pattern With Designer Cloth Strip

Take a white designer cloth strip and make wavy patterns over the circumference of the basket using the glue gun.

Step 12: Pasting Artificial Jute And Leaves Vine

Take an artificial jute and leaves vine and paste it over the designer cloth strip on the circumference using the glue gun.

Step 13: Take 2 Long Floral Stem Sticks

Take 2 long floral stem sticks for making the handle of the basket.

Step 14: Rolling Over The Sticks With Jute Rope

Roll the jute rope over the floral stem sticks and secure the ends with the glue gun.

Step 15: Twisting The Sticks

Twist the jute rope sticks to each other.

Step 16: Bending The Twisted Sticks

Bend the twisted sticks to form a handle-like structure for the basket.

Your Jute Flower Basket Is Ready!

Attach and paste the handle using the glue gun from the inner sides of the basket.
