Materials Required
- A paintbrush
- A plain white circular sheet
- A googly eye
- Marker pens in red, orange, and black colors
- An old toothbrush
- A poster color(any color could be taken)
- A green poster color
Procedure
Step 1: Paint Your Palm
Take any poster color you want and paint your palm using a paintbrush. If required, ask for help either from your teacher or parents.
Step 2: Imprint Your Palm
Now, imprint your palm on a plain white sheet. Make sure that you press your palm on the paper properly.
Step 3: Checking The Imprint
Remove your from the plain white circular sheet and check whether your palm has imprinted neatly on the sheet.
Step 4: Combing The Hen
For the comb(crown of the hen), take a red marker pen and draw the comb of the hen. Refer to the picture.
Step 5: Eye Of The Hen
For the eye, take a googly eye and stick it in the place of the eye on the imprinted palm. Paste the googly eye properly.
Step 6: Legs Of The Hen
For the legs of the hen, take a black marker pen and draw the legs of the hen. Draw two straight lines and then on each line’s end draw the claw of the hen. Look at the picture for the reference.
Step 7: Making A Green Grass
For the background, take an old toothbrush and green poster color and paint grass. Move the toothbrush in an upward direction to make it look like grass as shown in the picture.
Step 8: Some More Grass
Now, draw some more grass in the background by following step 7.
Finally Our Handprint Hen Art Is Ready!
This is a fun and interesting activity which could be done by all the age groups which includes adults as well. For kids, it is a process of learning but for adults, it is a stress-relieving activity. This activity has fewer materials requirements and is very easy to make. Moreover, in the background, you may add some details as well, such as a house, a flower, or a tree. You can also change the base sheet and take any color of your choice.
