DIY Beautiful Lavender 3D Flowers Craft

Materials Required

• Purple And Green Plastic Straws
• Scissors
• Double Sided Tape
• Floral Tape
• Green Craft Stick

Procedure

Step 1: Creasing A Purple Straw

Let’s begin this craft by taking a purple-colored plastic straw. Press the straw using your hands to make a crease over it and flatten it in half.

Step 2: Cutting Tiny Strips

Using scissors, cut identical tiny strips over the longer side of the straw. Make sure to not cut them from the very end, there should be some space left over them.

Step 3: Applying Double-sided Tape

Apply double-sided tape on the non-cut strip corner of the whole straw. Make sure to not apply the tape of the cutted strips and cut out the extra tape coming out of the straw using scissors.

Step 4: Rolling And Pasting The Straw Over A Green Stick

Take a green craft stick, paste one end of the taped straw over the top of the stick, and slightly tilting it, start to roll the straw over the green stick and make it stick to it by the tape.

Step 5: Continuing Rolling Over The Straw

Continue to roll closely over the stick till the straw ends to make lavender flower.

Step 6: Cutting A Green Straw Into Half

Take a green straw and press it in half to make a crease, now using scissors, start to cut the straw from the middle to the very end of the straw.

Step 7: Shaping Leaves

Take a half-straw piece and using scissors make 2 slanting cuts to shape it into a leaf as shown in the image.

Step 8: Wrapping Up Floral Tape Beneath The Flower

Take a green floral tape and start to roll it over the flower stem from the end of the lavender flower.

Step 9: Attaching Leaves

Put a leaf on the flower stem after rolling some tape then roll it from the end of the leaf too to attach the leaf to the flower stem. Again do the same for attaching another leaf on the other side of the flower stem.

Step 10: Completing Rolling The Tape

Completely roll the floral tape to the end of the stem stick and secure the end with a piece of double-sided tape.

Step 11: Bending The Lavender

Gently bend your lavender flower from the mid to give it a curvy and realistic look.
