Materials Required

• Cardboard
• Scissors
• Glue
• Egg carton
• Clay
• Sketch Pens

Procedure

Step 1: Removing An Egg Holder

Let’s begin our craft by taking an empty egg carton. Remove an egg holder.

Step 2: Making Cuts On The Conical Part

From the egg holder, remove the excess part so that the conical part is obtained. Now, make cuts on the conical part in a vertical direction towards the center. The cuts made should be of equal width from the top and slightly narrower from the bottom to form a petal shape.

Step 3: Rounding The Top Edges Of The Petals

Now, make the top edge of each petal round with the help of scissors. You will get a flower shape.

Step 4: Coloring The Flower

Take a red sketch pen, and color the inside of the flower as shown.

Step 5: Making The Center Of The Flower

Take yellow clay and make a small ball out of it. Place it in the center of the flower.

Step 6: Pressing The Clay Ball

Flatten the clay ball into a circle as shown. Make more colorful flowers out of the egg carton.

Step 7: Drawing A Leaf Pattern

To draw a leaf pattern, take the green paper. Fold it in half. Again fold in half to get creases as shown. Draw a leaf pattern on one side of the paper as shown.

Step 8: Cutting The Leaves

Fold the paper, fold it along the creases, and cut along the outline of the leaf.

Step 9: Getting The Leaves

After cutting the leaf template, you will get the leaves as shown in the image.

Step 10: Applying Glue On The Cardboard Ring

Take cardboard. Cut a ring out of it as shown. Make a hole at the top. Pass a ribbon through it and tie a knot. The ribbon will be used to hang the decoration on the wall. Apply glue all over the ring.

Step 11: Pasting A Leaf

Take a leaf, and paste it on the ring.

Step 12: Pasting A Flower

Take a flower, and paste it on the bottom of the leaf as shown.

Step 13: Pasting More Flowers And Leaves

Repeating the above two steps, paste more flowers and leaves on the circular ring. Paste the leaves, such that two adjacent leaves point in an alternate direction.

Step 14: Completing The Flower Wreath

Complete the flower wreath by repeating the above steps. Add a big red ribbon on the top to complete the look.
