How to Make 3D Paper Tree Painting
- Sketch pen
- A4 sized sheets
- Double-sided tape
- A pair of scissors
Draw the trunk and branches of the tree using a brown sketch pen on an A4 sized paper. This marks the beginning of our 3D paper tree project.
Color the shape evenly.
Bring in the fresh leaves to your workpiece.
Attach strips of double sided tape to each leaf one by one.
Paste them uniformly on the edge of each branch.
In the next step, increase the density by overlapping other leaves and paste them carefully so that they do not come out.
Add details as you will using markers and colors.
Make sure you don’t stick the whole leaf to the sheet. The tree has to look 3D.
Take a red sheet and draw tiny apples on it. You can draw any fruit and choose the color accordingly.
Grab the cutouts of the fruit.
Paste the cutouts at random distance on the tree you just prepared.
Don’t add too many of them to let the tree maintain the realness.
Cut a few leaves into tiny pieces.
Spread glue to the foot of the tree.
Sprinkle the pieces on the applied glue. This will give the look of bushes and increase the accuracy of our art. Paste some fruit cutouts at the bottom as well.
Here you go! You just made a full-fledged art-piece by using minimal materials to cater to your novelty-filled ingenious mind.
Since we have made a complete miniaturized tree, let us ponder upon some properties of these life-givers.

They can never die of old age.
The age of trees can be identified by the rings present inside their trunks.
One tree is more than capable of producing oxygen in a year for a family of four.
“Pennantia baylisiana” is considered by many, as the rarest species of trees that can be found on earth.
