Materials Required

• A white sheet of paper
• A pair of scissors
• A pen
• A blue, a black and a red marker pen
• A pencil

Procedure

Step 1: Cutting The Sheet Of Paper

Take a white sheet of paper and cut it into a long and wide strip as shown in the picture below.

Step 2: Starting The Folding Process

Make a horizontal fold throughout the strip making it half in size. Press down on the fold to seal the shape. See the picture below for reference.

Step 3: Folding It Into A Loop

Fold this strip into a shape containing a loop at the top with the strips crossed in the middle and the ends at a distance from each other. See the picture below for reference.

Step 4: Making A Knot On The Strip

Take one of the ends of the strip and pass it through the loop while holding the other end tight. The end that you made to pass through the loop should be passed all the way out of the loop as shown in the picture below.

Step 5: Trim Off The Excess End

Using a pair of scissors, trim off the excess end poking out if the loop. The cut should be made following the slant of the loop. See the picture below for reference.

Step 6: Making Some Drawings On The Strip

Place the shape on the table and make a big bunny ear on the strip at the top of the loop. The ear should start from the top of the loop up to the end of the sheet. See the picture below for reference. Using a pair of scissors, cut this ear shape from the strip.

Step 7: Colouring The Ear

Take a blue marker and colour the middle of the ear with it. This colouring should start from the bottom of the ear u up to a little below its end. The colour should only be filled in the middle section of this area. Draw vertical strokes to make the colour look more appealing as shown in the picture below.

Step 8: Drawing An Eye On The Face

The loop shall act as the face of the bunny. Take a black sketch pen and draw a closed eye at the top of the loop. Don’t forget to add some eyelashes at the bottom of this closed eye. Finally, colour the tip of the loop on the front with red marker. See the picture below for complete reference.

Step 9: Making The Puppet Work

Put your index finger in the open end of the loop and moving your finger a little, see the magic work. See the picture below for reference.

Finally ! Your Bunny Puppets Are Ready!

Separate the two ear flaps to reveal two lovely bunny ears.  Make another such bunny following all the steps mentioned above with a slight difference. Instead of using blue marker to colour the ears, use red marker and make the eye wide open instead of a shut sleeping eye. See the picture below for reference.
