Materials Required

• Cardboard
• White Paper
• Black Marker
• Glue
• Jute Thread
• Scissors

Procedure

Step 1: Making Fish Head And Tail

Let’s begin with this craft by taking a piece of cardboard and a black marker. Draw a fish’s head and tail over the cardboard with the marker.

Step 2: Cutting Out The Head And Tail

Using scissors, cut out the outlined face and tail of the fish.

Step 3: Joining The Head And Tail With A Jute Thread

Take a jute thread of length similar to the body of the fish and paste both ends of the thread using glue, one over the face of the fish and the other over the tail.

Step 4: Cutting A Piece Of Cardboard For Making Gills

Take another piece of cardboard, and remove the above layer of it to expose the inner wavy layer. Using scissors cut out small strips for the gills of the fish.

Step 5: Cutting Out All The Gills

Cut out 4-5 cardboard strips as the gills of the fish.

Step 6: Pasting The Gills

Paste the gills line-by-line leaving some spaces over the jute thread from the mid.

Step 7: Making Eye

Cut out a small circle from a white sheet of paper and paste it over the face using glue for making the eye of fish.

Step 8: Making Eyeball

Using a black marker make an eyeball inside the eye.

Your Cardboard Fish Craft Is Ready!

For the final look, Cut out a big white circle. Make another fish by following the same steps mentioned above and paste both of them over the white circular sheet to make an eye shape as shown in the image. Your easy cardboard fish craft is ready!
