Material Required

• Colored Paper (Pink and Yellow)
• Scissors
• Glue Gun
• Disposable Plastic Spoon
• Black Marker/Sketch Pen

Procedure

Step 1: Cutting Out A Yellow Heart

For the first step, take the yellow-colored sheet of paper and cut it into the shape of a heart using scissors.

Step 2: Cutting Out A Pink Heart

Take the pink-colored sheet of paper and cut it into the shape of a heart. Make sure this one is smaller than the heart cutout you previously made. Now, paste it over the yellow heart to make the wing of the butterfly.

Step -3: Making Another Wing

Using the above two steps, create another wing, and paste them using a glue gun all together as shown.

Step 4: Applying the Glue Gun

Apply the glue gun to the middle portion of the wings.

Step 5: Pasting Plastic Spoon In The Middle

Paste the disposable plastic spoon in the middle to make the body of the butterfly. Make sure that the bulging part of the spoon remains in the front.

Step 6: Turning Over The Butterfly

Flip the whole butterfly backward.

Step 7: Making Antennas

cut two small stripes out of pink paper, then paste these stripes on the top of the spoon for making antennas.

Step 8: Rolling The Antennas

Roll the antennas as shown in the picture.

Your Butterfly Is Ready!

For the final step, you are supposed to take the marker create eyes, and give a smiling face to the butterfly. You can also make small circles out of the pink-colored sheet of paper and paste them close to the smile in the form of a blush.
