With scissors, cut along the outline of the butterfly.

Step 3: Getting The Butterfly

After cutting, you will get the butterfly figure as shown.

Step 4: Making A Hole

With the wooden stick, make a hole in the center of the butterfly.

Step 5: Applying Double Side Tape

Apply double side tape in the middle of the butterfly.

Step 6: Pasting The Wooden Stick

Now, insert the stick and paste it in the middle as shown.

Step 7: Drawing On The Plastic Straw

Draw a pattern on the straw on both sides as shown in the figure.

Step 8: Cutting The Plastic Straw

Cut out the pattern as shown to get two vertical strips.

Step 9: Inserting The Straw Inside The Stick

Now, insert the straw inside the stick such that, the butterfly sits between the vertical strips.

Step 10: Pasting The Straw Strips

Now, paste the top of the vertical strip with the help of tape as shown. Repeat on both sides.

Step 11: Opening The Butterfly

Unfold the wings of the butterfly to open it as shown.

Step 12: Removing The Wooden Stick

Remove the wooden stick from the butterfly.
