Materials Required

• A White Sheet of Chart paper
• A pencil
• A black sketch pen
• Pencil colors

Procedure

Step 1: Drawing The House

Place the sheet on the table and using a pencil draw the basic structure of the house in the middle of the sheet. To do that, draw a horizontal line through the middle of the sheet. Then draw a square on the middle of this line followed by a slightly bigger triangle on the top of this square. Outline the shape with a black sketch pen.

Step 2: Adding Details To This House

Draw a circular window in the middle of the triangle roof of the house. Now, draw a door on the bottom right side of the house and a small window on the top left side of the house. Then, draw a chimney on the right roof of this house and two clouds of smoke above it. Finally, outline all these drawings using a black sketch pen.

Step 3: Drawing The Background Scenery

Draw some bushes on each side of the house, a cloud at the top of the sheet and another one on the left side of the house. Then draw a sun on the top right corner before adding a smiley in the middle of it. Also, draw a path starting from the door of the house right up to the end of the sheet. Outline the entire drawing using a black sketch pen. See the picture below for reference.

Final Image: Colouring The Drawing

Firstly, take a red pencil colour and paint the sun with it. Secondly, outline the inner peripheries of the two clouds with a blue colour. Colour the smoke clouds grey and the roof of the house dark blue. Thirdly,  colour the window on the rooftop and the wall of the house mustard. Use red colour for the door and blue colour for the window and the door knob. Now, colour the shrubs dark green and the garden light green with drawings of little grass strands throughout the garden as can be seen in the image below. Then, using a brown coloured pencil, paint the chimney and the pathway. Finally, colour the plant above the shrub pink. Follow the drawing in the image below for the colouring reference.
