DIY Bird Paper Craft Step by Step Tutorial

Materials Required

• Yellow craft paper
• Blue craft paper
• Black craft paper
• White craft paper
• Orange craft paper
• Black marker/sketch pen

Procedure

Step 1: Take Yellow Craft Paper

Your first step is to take a yellow coloured craft paper. Make the yellow coloured craft paper into a circle shape. After making a circle shape of the yellow coloured craft paper, fold the yellow coloured craft paper into quarter as shown.

Step 2: Fold The Yellow Craft Paper

Take the yellow coloured craft paper in a circle shape. Fold the yellow coloured craft paper into a quarter of the circle shape or into a semicircle as shown.

Step 3: Stick Yellow Craft Paper On Blue Craft Paper With Glue

Now, take a blue coloured craft paper. After taking a blue coloured craft paper, stick the yellow coloured craft paper which you have folded in the above step in a slant position with the help of glue on the blue coloured craft paper.

Step 4: Stick Yellow Circle With Glue

Take another yellow coloured craft paper. This yellow coloured craft paper should also be in circle shape but bigger than the size of previous yellow coloured circle. After taking bigger yellow coloured craft paper, stick the yellow coloured craft paper over the smaller yellow coloured craft paper with the help of glue.

Step 5: Make Two Semicircles With Yellow Craft Paper

Now, take yellow coloured craft paper. After taking yellow coloured craft paper, make two semicircles of same sizes. After making two semicircles with same size with yellow coloured craft paper, stick the two semicircles on either side of the small yellow coloured craft paper which you have already stuck in the above step on blue coloured craft paper with the help of glue.

Step 6: Make Triangle With Yellow Craft Paper

With the help of yellow coloured craft paper, make a triangle shape. After making a triangle shape, stick the yellow coloured triangle under the small yellow coloured circle with the help of glue on the blue coloured craft paper, which you had stuck earlier as shown in the picture.

Step 7: Make Eyes For The Bird

Now, with the help of black coloured craft paper and white coloured craft paper make eye for the bird. To make an eye for the bird you have to make a circle with the help of black coloured craft paper. After making circle from black coloured craft paper, make two circles with the help of white coloured craft paper. One circle should be little big and one circle should be a little smaller than the big one.

After making circles, stick the white coloured circles on the black coloured circle. Then, stick the black coloured circle on the big yellow coloured circle with the help of glue which you had stuck earlier.

Step 8: Make Beak With Orange Craft Paper

To make a beak of the bird, take an orange coloured craft paper. Turn the orange coloured craft paper into an arrow head shape. After making an arrow head shaped beak, stick the beak on the left side of the big yellow coloured circle with the help of glue as shown.

Step 9: Make Features With Black Sketch Pen

With the help of black marker/sketch pen, make features of the bird. You have to make lines on the feathers and the tail of the bird with the help of black marker/sketch pen. Use the thin black marker/sketch pen if possible as shown in the image.

Hurray !!Your Craft Is Ready!!

Finally your bird is ready to fly high in the sky and live its independent and carefree life. This craft is literally so easy to make that anyone can make it with their snap of their fingers. The kids can learn many things from this craft such as shapes and stuff. They can learn what the bird symbolizes and learn from it, such as being independent and carefree.
