Materials Required

• Piece of Plant
• Two Leaves (It will be nice to have one red leaf and one small green leaf)
• Black, Brown & Yellow Sketches
• Scissors
• White Chart
• Doll Eyes
• Glue

Procedure

Step 1: Pasting Piece of Plant in the Chart

You have to cut the white chart into a round shape and then paste the piece of plant in the middle of the chart as shown in the image.

Step 2: Creating a Bird

Start to cut the red leaf from the stalk on the right side just like the person in the image doing. The stalk of the leaf should look like the peak of the bird, so try to cut it carefully.

Step 3: Making a Mother Bird with a Red Leaf

Paste the red leaf above the piece of plant and then draw two straight lines under the red leaf to make the bird’s legs.

Step 4: Making a Baby Bird with Green Leaves

After completing the legs, paste doll eyes above the leaf’s stink. Take the green leaf and cut it like the red one, then paste it opposite of the red leaf.

Step 5: Creating Baby Bird’s Eyes

Then paste one doll’s eye in the green leaf and draw two lines under the green leaf to make legs and also feet for the baby bird.

Step 6: Making a Tail for the Mother Bird

To make a mother bird’s tail you have to take some red leaf and cut it into small pieces and paste all the pieces at the back of the mother bird as shown in the image.

Step 7: Drawing the Sun

With the use of a brown sketch, start to draw a small circle at the top left corner of the white chart and also add some features with the help of a yellow sketch.

Cut a small piece of leaf into a feathers shape and then paste it in the middle of the mother bird and complete the craft. You can hang it on the wall to decorate your kid’s room, they will definitely like this craft and make it very easy.
