This craft will teach you how to make the best out of waste and you can teach your kiddos about the importance of recycling through it! This will require very basic materials which will be available easily in any art and craft store! So without any further ado, let’s get started!

DIY Fruit Foam Flowers Craft

Materials Required

• Purple And Yellow Fruit Foam Net
• White And Green Papers
• Lighter
• Thread
• Green Plastic leaves
• Double-sided Tape

Procedure

Step 1: Taking The Yellow And Purple Foam

For this craft, start by taking yellow and purple fruit foam nets.

Step 2: Taking Out Strands From The Purple Foam Net

After taking the purple foam, start taking out the slanting strands from it with the help of your hands.

Step 3: Taking Out All The Strands

One by one take out all the slanting strands of the foam.

Step 4: Sticking The Strand Over Double-Sided Tape

Take a piece of double-sided tape and stick the end of the strand over the tape.

Step 5: Keep Sticking The Strands On The Tape

Keep on sticking the ends of foam strands one by one over the tape strip.

Step 6: Completing Sticking The Foam Strands

Stick all the foam strands over the tape. Make sure to paste them in a increasing order of their length.

Step 7: Burning The Ends Of The Strands With Lighter

Now start burning the ends of the foam strands with the lighter as shown in the photo above to give it a withered effect.

Step 8: Complete Burning The Sides Of The Foam Strands

After completely burning strands of foam, it is ready to make it flower.

Step 9: Folding Yellow Foam Strands

Take out yellow foam strands and collectively bend them from the middle.

Step 10: Securing The Strands With A Thread

After folding the yellow foam, now take the thread and start wrapping it around the yellow foam as shown in the image.

Step 11: Burning The End Of The Strands Of The Yellow Foam

Now, burn the ends of the strands as we did with purple foam.

Step 12: Sticking The Yellow Foam Over The Purple Foam Strip

Remove the waste layer of double-sided tape from the purple foam strip and paste the yellow foam over it on one end of it a little low as shown in the image.

Step 13: Rolling Over The Purple Foam Strip

Keep on rolling the purple foam around the yellow foam to make it look like in flower shape.

Step 14: Cutting Out The Sepal And Leaf From A Plastic Sheet

After making the flower, now it’s time to make sepals and leaves. For this cut out the sepal shape and leaf shape from the plastic sheet as shown in the photo above.

Step 15: Making The Stem Of The Flower

Place a green floral stem in the flower and secure it with tape

Step 16: Sticking Sepal In The Flower

After making the sepal start sticking the sepal in the flower with the stem as shown in the photo above.

Step 17: Sticking The Leaves

Now after sticking the sepal in the flower with glue. Now it’s time to stick the leaves in the stem. Start rolling green floral tape around the stem.

Step 18: Completing Rolling The Floral Tape

Cover the stem wholely with green floral tape.
