This easy craft tutorial will show you how to make a beautiful paper crown with your kids. With just a few simple supplies and a bit of creativity, your kids will have a blast making and wearing their very own crowns!

This craft activity is a fun activity for children between 8 to 11 yrs of age. This will make the children enhance their thoughts on art designs and color combinations. This is also a fun learning activity to use clay for forming different designs for the crown as we will see further.

Materials Required

• Craft paper of different colors (red, yellow, blue, etc.)
• Clay Dough of different colors
• Scissor

Procedure

Step 1: Sketching The Crown

Take a red craft paper. Draw a crown design with a pencil and then trace it with a black sketch pen or marker pen.

Step 2: Clean Tracing

Trace the crown slowly and smoothly and completely whole crown.

Step 3: Cutting The Design

Take the scissors for cutting out the crown. Cut the design of the crown very precisely and neatly.

Step 4: The Cutout Figure

After the crown has been cut out, it should look like the figure shown above.

Step 5: Making The Crown Design

Take a yellow color clay and make small balls and press them on the grip of the crown as shown in the figure and then take a blue clay and draw two leaf shapes and then put them together and press them with a slab as shown in the figure.

Step 6: Completion Of The Crown

Make the pink flowers for the rest of the crown petals and design them as shown in the figure. Then decorate the rest of the crown with small balls made out of white clay. You can add your own taste and preferences to the decoration.

Step 7: Making Of The Second Crown

Take a yellow craft paper and cut out a different design of crown and start decorating it with the different colors of the clay. Take help of the figure shown above for designing the crown.

Step 8: Making The Third Crown

Now take a piece of blue color craft paper and draw and cut out a new crown shape. Take different colored clays and decorate the crown. For the decoration, take help from the image shown above. It can be decorated according to personal preferences too.

 Final Completion Of All Three Crowns

All three crowns are ready! The color, design, and shape patterns can be altered according to personal preference.
