DIY Paper Flower Bouquet Craft for Kids

Materials Required

• Craft Paper (Green)
• Small Jute Thread
• Red Paper Cup
• Scissors
• Marker/Sketch Pen (Black And Red)
• Glue

Procedure

Step 1: Folding The Green Craft Paper Alternatively

Do you remember how we used to make Chinese fans when we were kids? Just like that, you have to take a green-colored craft paper and fold it alternatively to make zig-zag strips.

Step 2: Tying The Strips With Jute Thread

Now, tie the strips altogether with the thread like a bow, a little down from the middle part.

Step 3: Marking 5 Dots

Mark the brim of the paper cup with six dots with the help of a black marker/sketch pen. Leave equal space between each dot as shown in the picture.

Step 4: Cutting The Paper Cup

With the help of scissors, cut the recycled paper cup along with the black dots. So, you will cut six sides as there are six black dots.

Step 5: Shaping The Petals

After cutting the recycled paper cup, you will get six sides. Shape all six sides into a flower petal using scissors.

Step 6: Drawing Facial Features

Using a black and red marker/sketch pen draw cute flower features (eyes, smile, blush) on the bottom part of the recycled paper cup.

Step 7: Sticking The Flower With Glue

Use the glue to stick the flower on the green-colored craft fan which we made above to turn it into a bouquet of flowers.
