How To Make Paper-Leaf Peacock Craft For Kids

Materials Required

• White Chart
• Color Papers ( Blue and Yellow)
• Googly Eyes
• Color Sketch Pens
• Glue

Procedure

Step 1: Cut Leaves Shapes From The Yellow Color Craft Paper

First, get ready with a background that is cut from the white chart in a circle shape. Then draw identical leaf outlines on yellow color paper and cut them out.

Step 2: Stick The Cut Paper Leaves On The White Chart

Start to stick the paper leaves on a white chart using glue.

Step 3: Stick The Paper Leaves At A Particular Angle To Create Peacock Feathers

Next, stick many paper leaves with the help of glue in a particular arrangement as shown in the picture below.

Step 4: Peacock Feather Is Ready

After sticking the paper leaves let them dry. This is going to be the peacock’s feathers.

Step 5: Making The Peacock’s Body

Cut out the shape of a bottle gourd from the blue paper with its crest and crown on the top. Complete its face with googly eyes and a yellow beak from the yellow color paper. Stick the now-created piece in the center of the feathers using glue.

Step 6: Add Details Using Color Sketches

Draw legs for the peacock using orange sketch color.

Step 7: Add Fine Details

Next, draw dotted lines using an orange marker on either side of the peacock’s body to provide a more realistic view.

Step 8: Minute Detailing

Now repeat the dotted lines with a green marker alongside the orange dotted lines on either side.

Step 9: Add Details To The Background

Draw grasses around the peacock using the green marker to make the craft more attractive.
