Materials Required

• Plastic Bottle
• Glue Gum
• Crepe Paper(Yellow)
• Scissors
• Craft Sheet(White)
• Glue
• Crayons
• Black Marker

Procedure

Step 1: Preparing A Plastic Bottle

Let’s begin making our craft by taking an empty, transparent plastic bottle. Using scissors remove the outer plastic cover present in the middle of the bottle as shown.

Step 2: Applying Glue On The Cap

Take a hot glue gun and apply glue at the center of the plastic bottle cap.

Step 3: Pasting A Green Circle

To make this green circle, take a white sheet and cut a circle of radius similar to that of a bottle’s cap. Color the circle green using the crayons and paste it on the cap as shown.

Step 4: Making The Pineapple’s Crown

To make the crown, take a white sheet of paper and make the shape of leaves or crown found on the top of a pineapple. Color the leaves green with the help of crayons and cut the leaves. Place the cap back on the bottle firmly. apply glue on the sides of the cap and start pasting the leaves around the sides as shown.

Step 5: Completing The Crown

Carefully, paste the crown around the cap as shown in the image and cover the entire cap.

Step 6: Preparing The Pineapple’s Skin

To begin making the pineapple’s skin, take a yellow crepe paper. Cut a rectangular strip out of it. Gather the paper from the middle as shown.

Step 7: Folding The Yellow Strip In Half

Now, after pinching the paper from the middle, fold it in half and make the edges curved by pressing it with your fingers.

Step 8: Pasting The Crepe Paper Pineapple’s Skin

After preparing the skin, paste it on the bottle’s surface.

Step 9: Making More Crepe Paper Skins

Repeat the above steps and make more such skins with the help of crepe paper and paste them closely on the bottle to resemble the outer surface of the pineapple.

Step 10: Completing The Pineapple’s Body

Keep pasting the crepe paper skin until you reach the bottom as shown in the image.

Step 11: Pasting Green Leaves At The Bottom

Take a white paper and cut a set of leaves as shown, slightly shorter in length as compared to the leaves at the top. Color them green and paste them at the bottom of the bottle.

Step 12:  Getting A Black Marker

Take a black marker to draw scales on the pineapple’s surface.

Step 13: Drawing Black Marks

Using the black marker, draw small vertical marks on the skin of the pineapple as shown. This will make it look more realistic.
