DIY Plastic Bottle and Paper Bee Craft for kids

This activity is suitable for kids of all ages and it is very simple to do. You will just need some plastic bottles and paper to make a bee. Follow the instructions to make your own bee and have fun with your buzzing bee friends!

Welcome to this tutorial! In this tutorial, we are going to create simple plastic bottle and paper bee craft. With the use of plastic bottles, we can create so many crafts and decorating items. This craft is also a simple plastic bottle craft, with some simple effort even kids can it by themself. You just need some simple craft materials to create this cute craft such as plastic bottle, color craft papers and some glue. Shall we start?

Materials Required

• Color papers (Yellow & Violet)
• Small plastic bottle
• Scissors and Rulers
• Pencil
• Glue
• Black sketch pen
• Flower stickers
• One straw

Procedure

Step 1: Folding Yellow Color Paper into Half

Cut 15 cm square from yellow color paper and fold it into half.

Step 2: Drawing Bee Wings with the Use of Black Sketch Pen

Grab your pencil and rulers, place your rulers on left side of folded yellow paper and draw a line an inch inside, then draw bee wings. Highlight your drawing with black pen as shown in the image.

Step 3: Cutting Bee’s Wings Out from Yellow Paper

After finishing the drawing, cut it out from yellow with the use of scissors.

Step 4: Unfolding Bee’s Wings

After cutting wings from yellow paper, unfold the yellow color paper.

Step 5: Pasting Piece of Violet Color Paper on Plastic Bottle

Take violet color craft paper, cut a strap from it and then paste it with your plastic bottle using glue.

Step 6: Pasting Another Piece of Violet Paper on Bottle

Again, cut a thick strap from violet paper and paste it under that small violet strap and let that violet papers to dry.

Step 7: Pasting Wings with Bottle

After its dry, paste your plastic bottle in the middle of the yellow wings using glue.

Step 8: Cutting and Pasting Antennas for Bee

In this step, take yellow paper and cut two long and thin yellow papers from it, then turn your bottle and paste those two pieces on the top of the plastic bottle.

Step 9: Pasting Eyes for Bee

After pasting antennas, cut two circles from black color paper for eyes and turn your bottle again, then paste two eyes above that thin violet paper.

Step 10: Drawing Bee’s Mouth

Then with use of black pen draw mouth under bee’s eyes as shown in the image.

Step 11: Decorating Bee’s Wings with Paper Flowers

Are you ready to decorate your bee’s wings? Then take flower stickers and paste it on top both wings.

 Finally!! Completing our Paper Bee Craft

Finally, we going to complete our paper bee craft. Select your favorite flower stickers and you can also paste color stones for decoration and paste it on both wings. Then, turn your bee craft and take one straw, paste it on your craft with glue. Your bee craft is ready!
