Procedure
Step- 1: Cutting The Paper
For the first step, you have to cut the coloured papers in a circular shape using the scissors.
Step- 2:Folding The Paper
For this step, further, fold the same paper into two halves, don’t forget to put some adhesive on one side of the folded paper.
Step- 3:Sticking The Paper
In this step, further fold the already folded paper, such that the folded paper is one-fourth the size of the original paper. After the final fold, glue out the sides of the paper. Repeat the same step for all the colored sheet cutouts you have.
Step- 4: Sticking The Papers Together
In this step, you have to stick another folded sheet with the first one.
Step- 5: Sticking The Sheets
Following the same step as above, stick another sheet to the ones you already have.
Step- 6 Adding More Sheets
Now, make sure you add more and more sheets of different colours and stick them using a hot glue gun. All these sheets stuck together, will act as the canopy for the umbrella. Do not stick the first and the last folded papers, save that for later!
Step- 7: Adding The Shaft
Now cut a small stripe of paper and roll it from one side to the other. Now stick the other end to the rolled paper, you will get a stick-like body. Attach the so-formed shape in the middle of the canopy, paste it with a hot glue gun and also secure the first and last folded papers that you left earlier.
Final Step: Final Touches
Now, fold the lower part of the shaft in order to give a proper umbrella kind of look to your craft. And you are done!
