DIY Origami Bunny Ring Craft Tutorial for Kids

Materials Required

• Pink Origami Sheet
• Sketch Pens (Red And Black)
• Scissors
• Glue
• Scale
• Pencil

Procedure

Step 1: Making A Half Crease On A Pink Origami Paper

To begin this craft, take a piece of pink origami paper of 7.5 X 7.5 cm dimensions. Turn it over to the back side and fold it in half to form a vertical crease.

Step 2: Making A White Strip

Turn it over to the pink side and fold one side of the paper perpendicular to the crease to make a white strip over it. Now, using a scale and pencil mark 1-1 cm on the strip on the sides of the crease. Using a craft cutter cut the strip along the fold to the pencil marks.

Step 3: Forming A Triangle

Turn over your paper to the back (white) side and fold the folded side, and fold the paper corners to the middle crease to form a triangle.

Step 4: Making Bunny’s Ears

Turn over the paper again to the pink side and you will see a small triangle left of the white strip. Fold this triangle over the paper and also take up the cut strips to form the bunny’s ears.

Step 5: Folding The Side To the Triangle’s End

Turn over the paper again to the back side and fold the opposite side of the paper from the triangle to the end of the triangle.

Step 6: Making A Strip

Fold the previously folded side again and this time over the triangle and then again to reach the paper top to make a thin strip, this will be the face of the bunny.

Step 7: Detailing The Bunny Face

Using red and black sketch pens, make the facial features of the bunny on the folded strip i.e. eyes, nose, and mouth from the black one and cheek blush from the red one. Also, make the ear detailing from the red one over the ear strips. Now, using scissors, shape the ear strips curved from the top. Using glue, open up and paste the below ear paper of the bunny to the whole figure.

Step 8: Forming The Bunny Ring

Bend the bunny face to the opposite side to form a ring shape and apply glue on the corners and insert the strips into each other and make them stick to form a ring.

The Final Look Of Bunny Face Ring!
