• Glue
• Scissors

Instructions:-

Step 1: Starting The Craft With The Blue Craft Paper

To start with the craft , let’s take a 10X10 cm blue craft paper square from which we will be making cones for our bunch.

Step 2: Started Making The Dahlia Flower Cones From The Blue Craft Paper

Now to start making the cone, Take the top and bottom corners of the square and bring them together diagonally, overlapping slightly to create a cone shape.

Adjust the cone to make sure the point is centered, and the bottom edge is even. Use glue to secure the overlapping edges together.

Make 27 cones from the blue crafting paper following the same steps.

Step 3: Making The Central Part Of The Dahlia Flower With Dark Blue Color Crafting Paper

In this step take a dark blue color crafting sheet and cut out a medium sized circle out of it. We will be sticking our cones around the circle to complete our beautiful craft.

Step 4: Sticking The Cones Around The Edges Of The Circle

Now in this step, apply  glue at the back end of the cones and start sticking them around the center of the circle.

For the first ring to complete you will need 15 cones at least , it can vary as per your circle diameter.

Step 5: Creating The Second Ring Of The Flower Bunch

After completing the first ring, we will start making the second ring over the first ring. Take the cones and apply glue on the back end of the cones and start sticking the cones on the first ring by needing the edge of the cones with the center.

You will be needing at least 12 cones for the second ring (can vary).

Step 6: Starting With The Third Ring

After completing the first and second ring your bunch will look like this. Now for the third ring we will making the cones from purple crafting papers.

Follow the same steps of blue cones for making the purple cones. You will need at least 17 purple cones.

Step 7: Adding The Purple Cones To The Bunch By Sticking Them Over Blue Cones With Glue

Now take the purple cones and add a layer over the blue ones with keeping the edge of the cones meeting the central part of the bunch.

Step 8: Creating The Second Layer Of Purple Cones

Now add the second layer of purple cones on top of the first layer of purple cones we added following the same steps.

You will be needing at least 10 purple cones for the second layer.

Step 9: Finishing The Bunch By Adding The Last Layer Of Purple Cones

After all the 4 layers of blue and purple cones, we will be left with the Centre. Add two more purple cones in the center to complete the bunch.

Step 10: Sticking The Dahlia Flower On The Black Sheet

Now take the flower bunch and stick it on the black chart paper by positioning it at the center of the sheet.

Step 11: Making The Stem Of The Dahlia Flowers

Now to make the stem, take a green craft paper and roll it in a thin stick by rolling it from one edge, Secure the edge of the stick.

Now this green stick will be our stem. With the help of the glue stick it at the center of the flower bunch on the sheet.

Step 12: Adding The Leaves Made From Green Crafting Paper

For making the leaves, take a green craft paper and cut out a two triangular shape from the green craft paper for the leaves part. Make horizontal creases on that triangle by folding it in a zig-zag manner. After completing the folding, press the middle of the folded strip and fold it in a V-shape, ensuring to meet both ends of the strip together. Give a proper shape of the leaves to both of the cutouts using scissors and stick them in the bottom of the stems using glue, as shown in the image above.
