Materials Required

• Plastic Bottles
• Popsicle Sticks
• Scissors
• Hot Glue Gun
• Cardboard

Procedure

Step 1: Taking Scissors And Bottle

Begin this craft by taking a plastic bottle and a pair of scissors.

Step 2: Cutting Out The Bottle Into Half

Using scissors, cut the plastic bottle into half and use the bottom half for the stand-making.

Step 3: Pasting A Popsicle Stick On The Bottle Cut-out

Using hot glue, paste a popsicle stick straight over the outer part of the bottle.

Step 4: Covering Whole Bottle Cut-out

One by one paste popsicle sticks over the bottle cut-out to cover it wholely.

Step 5: Pasting A Sunflower

Using scissors, cut the popsicle sticks into long diamond shapes as the petals of the sunflower and cut out a circle from cardboard as the center of the sunflower. Paste the petals from behind the circle using hot glue to create your sunflower. Now, paste your sunflower over the bottle stick-stand in the middle using hot glue. This completes your one sunflower pencil stand.

Step 6: Making Another Stand And Making Base

Following the same procedure, make a second sunflower stand and this time make it a little smaller than the first one by cutting down one end of the popsicle sticks. Now for the base of the stands arrange popsicle sticks side by side.

Step 7: Continuing Making Base

Arrange more and more popsicle sticks together side-by-side and then paste the arranged sticks using hot glue.

Step 8: Completing Making The Base

Paste more popsicle sticks randomly over the base horizontally using hot glue.

Your Pencil And Vase Stand Is Ready!

Now, flip and turn the base and paste the stands over the base using hot glue.

Voila! Look at the amazing results as I promised! This craft is now ready to use!
