Vibrant Cactus Craft Using Colorful Clay For Kids

Welcome to this step-by-step tutorial on how to make a vibrant cactus craft. This craft is very easy and enjoyable for all the kids especially playing with their fingers for this craft. This craft will require playing with clay. This will require very basic materials which will be available easily in any art and craft store. Materials Required

• Circular Cardboard
• Colored Clay (Red, Yellow, Pink, Light, And Dark Green)

Procedure

Step 1: Taking Dark Green Modeling Clay

Take circular cardboard as the base and dark green modeling clay and start stretching it with both ends to take out a piece from it.

Step 2: Sticking The Modeling Clay

Stretch the modeling clay over the base with your fingers and stick it making fingerprints like shown in the photo above. This will be a cactus.

Step 3: Making More Cactus

After making cactus with dark green modeling clay, now take different colors of modeling clay i.e. yellow and red modeling clay. Follow the same to make cactus of these colors as shown in the image.

Step 4: Making More Cactus With Different Color Modeling Clay

Now take more color modeling clay like light green and dark green modeling colors. Now, in a similar way stick them in the base as shown in the photo above.

Step 5: Completing Making Cactus

After sticking the modeling clay of different colors, our cactuses will look like this as shown in the photo above.

Step 6: Making Flowers Of The Cactus With Modeling Clay

Now after making the cactus, now it’s time to make flowers with different colors of modeling clay. for this take modeling clay of red colour and stick it in the paper in the shape as shown in the photo above with the help of the fingers. Now take modeling clay of different colors like yellow, green, and pink. Give it in the shape of a flower as shown in the photo above for the other cactus.

Step 7: Adding Thorns To Cactus

Now take white modeling clay. Then shape in into very small balls as shown in the photo above. And stick it over all cactus on the vertical lines as shown in the photo above.
