Easy To Make Palm Outline Peacock Craft Tutorial For Kids

This craft is really fun and easy to make with kids. They will make a lovely peacock using a hand trace. Follow the steps in this tutorial to make your own peacock. Great for any occasion or just for fun!

What’s exciting is that you can make such peacocks by following our easy-to-follow guides in a very small amount of time. DIY Palm Outline Peacock Craft

Materials Required

• Black pen
• Pencil
• Fevicol
• Sketch pens of different colours
• eye for the peacock and a plain sheet

Procedure

Step 1: Outline your one palm with the help of a pen

On a plain sheet place your one palm and outline it with the help of a pen from your other hand as shown in the image above.

Step 2: Draw some designs on the feathers of the peacock

After the first step is over, remove your palm from the paper and create some beautiful designs on its feathers to make it look more attractive. Draw a similar pattern on the feathers with a pen as shown in the image.

Step 3: Draw the wing of a peacock

Take a pencil and draw a wing of the peacock in the same manner as shown with the help of a pencil. Once you are done with that outline it with a sketch pen or a marker to highlight its features.

Step 4: Next create the crest and beak of the peacock neatly

For the next step, draw the crest of the peacock with the same sketch pen or marker used in highlighting its wing. And then make a small cute beak of the peacock.

Step 5: Colour the body of the peacock

Take a  sky blue coloured sketch pen and colour the body of the peacock neatly. Make sure the colour doesn’t come outside of the required portion.

Step 6: Stick an eye on the peacock to define its features

With the help of fevicol stick an eye on the peacock and hold it for a few seconds until it dries up and is stuck completely.

Step 7: Enhance the looks of a butterfly by colouring the designs on its feathers

Take a red sketch pen and carefully colour the patterns you have made on the feathers of the peacock one by one.

Step 8: Colour the other half with a yellow sketch pen

For the next step arrange a yellow sketch pen or highlighter and colour the leftover part of the pattern in the same manner as shown in the image above.

Step 9: Colour the feathers of the peacock with the help of a green sketch pen

As we all know a peacock is incomplete without its dense green feathers, henceforth, for the next step colour the feathers of the peacock with a green sketch pen to make it look more beautiful.

Step 10: Colour the design you have created on the wing of peacock

With a red sketch pen colour the design which you have made on the wing of the peacock to make it look more colourful.

Step 11: Colour the rest over part of the wing with a yellow sketch pen

Take a yellow sketch pen and thoroughly colour the rest over part of the wing of the peacock.

Wohooo!! Your elegant peacock is finally completed

And now we are done making our beautiful peacock and the final look is shown above. You can frame it and use it as a wall hanging in your home or classroom.
