How To Make Paper Bunny Easy Craft For Kids

This tutorial will teach you to make these bunnies with just a sheet of paper. You can hang them in your room or at the door as a welcome bunny. This happy bunny will enliven your room with happiness and sheer beauty. Make as many as you want to decorate the entire house with it or make every room welcoming by hanging them on all doors especially the main door of the house. With that, let’s get started.

Material Used

• An A4 Size Sheet Of Paper( Pink In Color)
• A Pencil
• Bottle Caps Of Two Different Shapes
• A Coin
• A Pair Of Scissors

Procedure

Step 1: Take a Sheet Of Paper And Start Folding

Take a sheet of paper and fold it into a big triangle by folding it from one side of the corner to the opposite side of the same corner.

Step 2: Make Another Fold On This Triangle

Take the bottom right corner of this triangle and make another fold. This fold should not cover the other two corners and should poke out of the left side of the triangle.

Step 3: Folding The Other Corner As Well

Repeat the process in the bottom left corner making three triangles at the top and a cone at the bottom.

Step 4: Make The Final Fold

Now, make a final fold by joining the two sides of the cone making only two triangles at the top and the cone shape smaller but intact.

Step 5: Make a Semi-Circle

Take the bigger bottle cap and place it on the bottom right side of the cone, a little above the corner, and make a semi-circle with the help of a pencil.

Step 6: Use The Smaller Bottle Cap

Take the smaller bottle cap and place it on top of the marks you made in the previous step and draw another semi-circle. This gives a head and a body to our bunny.

Step 7: Drawing The Final Circle

Take a small coin, smaller than the caps, and place it in the middle of the bigger semi-circle, and with its help make another semi-circle right in the middle of the biggest.

Step 8: Drawing Forelimbs On The Circles

Take a pencil and draw a half-oval shape on the top of the circumference of the coin-sized semi-circle.

Step 9: Drawing Hind Limbs And a Face On The Circles

 Take a pencil and draw a half-oval shape on the bottom of the circumference of the coin-sized semi-circle. Now draw half a smile and one eye on the top circle, i.e., the head of the bunny, as shown in the picture below. Also, draw one ear at the top of the same circle at a little distance from the periphery.

Step 10: Cut The Paper In The Shape Of The Drawing

Take a pair of scissors and cut in the directions of the marks you just made, not touching the right peripheries of the cone. The only peripheral area you need to cut is the smallest circle except for the limbs. Do the same to the half mouth and one eye you drew before. Cutting the eye can be tricky, so, use a pointed object to make marks around the small circle of the eye until it cuts.

 Opening The Bunny!!

Open this half bunny like a book and, surprise, it was a complete bunny with both sides all along. You just got tricked, an artistic trick though. This completes our happy, smiling bunny.
