Paper Coconut Tree Craft Tutorial For Kids

This craft is easy to make and even easier with the help of our guide in this step-by-step tutorial! Your kiddos won’t be needing any help and they can easily make up this craft with this tutorial! Materials Required

• Colored Paper Sheets
• A Pair Of Scissors
• Glue
• A Black Pen

Procedure

Step 1: Making A Yellow Land

To begin this craft, take a light blue and dark blue paper sheet, a yellow paper sheet, and scissors. Paste the light blue sheet on the dark one for the base of the craft, keeping it in portrait view and this will be the sky and sea. Make sure that your dark blue sheet is a little bigger than the light one to make the dark blue sheet look like the border.

Using scissors, cut out an improper semicircle from the yellow sheet, and using glue paste the semicircle over the base a little above the end, to make land in the water as shown in the image.

Step 2: Pasting A Coconut Tree Trunk

Cut out a curvy coconut tree trunk from a brown paper sheet. Make sure to keep the trunk a little thick from the bottom end and thin at the top. Now, paste the trunk over the yellow land on a little right side using glue.

Step 3: Making A Crease Over Green Circle

From a green paper sheet, cut out a circle. Fold the circle in half, make a crease, and unfold again.

Step 4: Folding The Circle Along The Crease

Fold the circle along the semicircle crease.

Step 5: Pasting The Semicircle Leaf

Apply glue on the outer side of the semicircle and paste it to the top end of the trunk a little tilted to make a leaf over the trunk using glue.

Step 6: Pasting More Leaves

One by one create and paste the green semicircle leaves in a round over the trunk to make the leaves. Make sure to paste one part of the semicircle a little below the other using glue.

Step 7: Pasting A Coconut

After pasting all the leaves to the end, cut out small circles from dark brown paper as the coconut and paste it in the middle of the leaves to the bottom using glue.

Step 8: Pasting More Coconuts

Following the same cutout and paste more dark brown colored coconuts and paste them slightly over one another to look like a bunch of those. Also, paste a coconut over the yellow land to make it look like a fallen one using glue.

Step 9: Making A Sea Wave

Using scissors, cut out small circles from dark blue paper sheets a fold them in half to form semicircles. Start pasting these blue semicircles below the land in a line keeping the curvy part above using glue to make a sea wave. Make sure to only paste one outer part of the semicircle to the base and leave the other open.

Step 10: Making More Sea Waves

In the same way, mentioned previously, make another wave at the end of the base on the left half and a little above the end on the right half as shown in the image.

This Is The Final Look Of Your Coconut Tree Paper Craft!

For the last step, cut out a circle from the yellow paper for the sun and paste it on the very corner of the base on the left top keeping most of the circle part outside the base using glue. Now, using scissors, cut out the extra part of the sun coming out of the base.

Now, using a black pen, draw the classic curvy birds flying in the sky on each side of the coconut tree on the blue base as shown in the image.
