DIY Blowing Paper Sun Toy Craft For Kids

Materials Required
- Construction Papers
- Ruler
- Pencil Or Pen
- Scissors
- Glue
Procedure
Step 1: Cutting Circle Out Of Yellow Paper
As a first step of the craft, draw a circle on yellow paper using a pencil and cut it out of the paper using scissors.
Step 2: Making Circle On Circle
Draw another circle on the yellow paper circle using a pencil.
Step 3: Drawing Lines On Outer Ring
Now, place a ruler on the circle and draw two lines on the outer ring using a pencil. Using the same way, place the ruler at different angles and cover the ring with the lines.
Step 4: Cutting Lines
Once the lines are drawn, cut them to the circumference of the inner circle using scissors.
Step 5: Folding Cuts In Right Direction
Now, fold a cut in the right direction to form a triangle.
Step 6: Making Fold Of Sun
Similarly, fold all the cuts in the right direction. You should get a sun as shown in the above image.
Step 7: Pasting Eyes Of the Sun
Now, make eyes of the sun using black and white paper and paste them on the sun’s face.
Step 8: Adding Smile On Sun’s Face
To make your sun smile, cut a small hemisphere from red paper and paste it on the sun’s face using glue.
Step 9: Inserting Aluminum Thin Wire To Make the Nose
Next, take a thin small aluminum wire and fold its one end to make a loop. Insert a small roll of yellow paper in it. Make a hole in the middle of the sun’s face and insert the wire in it to make the nose of the sun.
Step 10: Making Paper Sun
Your paper sun should look like this.
Step 11: Making Hole In Paper
Once your paper sun is ready, make a hole on a piece of paper or cardboard.
Step 12: Inserting Sun’s Nose In Hole
Insert the aluminum wire behind the sun in the hole of the paper to complete the craft.
